Main responsibilities:

       Manage the customer journey from the point of enquiry through to contract, in line with InterContinental brand SOPs and the hotel´s Sales & Marketing strategy

       Establish relationship with prime venues and negotiates conditions of cooperation with them

       Follow up on all in-house MICE enquiries with tailor-made Outside catering offer

       Monitor present and future trends, practices and systems to ensure that operations are competitive in the market place

       Manage all enquiry handling tasks related to catering events including proposals, follow ups, contracts, negotiations, BEO and invoices according to standards

       Monitor and handle enquiries via all channels, and provide customer proposals

       Negotiate customer room rates, meeting room rental, food and beverage prices and hotel services

       Accurately produce all sales contracts, and follow up to until contracts are signed

       Maximize meetings revenues by applying all selling and rate strategies, negotiation practices, concession rules and revenue management best practices

       Conduct hotel site inspections and menu tastings as appropriate to the event

       Follow up with the customer after the event to establish satisfaction and solicit future business

       Carry out daily administrative & reporting tasks required i.e. forecasts, sales activity, productivity, and other duties and special projects as assigned

       Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other departments

Skills and experience:

       At least 1-year experience in Catering and Event sales

       Time flexibility & high commitment is a must

       Professional customer service and communication skills

       Resistance to stress situations

       Excellent knowledge of English

       Preferred PC skills - MS Office, Delphi, Opera

       This is solely re-active position, no travel is required
