👨🍳 We are looking for a Commis Chef for Banqueting at Almanac X Alcron Prague!

Brasserie 1932 builds on the First Republic heritage of Alcron and brings it into a modern, relaxed setting. Our approach is based on honest craftsmanship, clean flavours, high-quality local ingredients and classic French technique. We want our guests to feel naturally at ease — whether they come for a business lunch, dinner, a family gathering or a special event.
Our kitchen is led by Executive Chef Josef and Head Chef Leo, while the banqueting section is under the supervision of Sous Chef Vikram. Together, we are moving Alcron forward and writing the next chapter of its culinary story.
Alcron is returning to the spotlight — last year, we received 2 toques in the Gault&Millau guide, and we are ready to go even further. Be part of it with us!
What will you do?
You will mainly help with the preparation of buffets and catering for events.
When there are no events, your work will be varied across the hotel operation — from business lunches and à la carte dinners to preparing meals for your colleagues in the staff canteen.
You will work 12-hour shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
Following HACCP rules and hotel standards will be a natural part of your daily work.
What are we looking for?
Passion for gastronomy, willingness to learn and motivation to grow.
Experience from a professional kitchen — ideally 1–2 years in a hotel, restaurant or catering environment.
Basic English skills — enough to communicate at work.
Reliability, team spirit and the desire to be part of an ambitious kitchen.
