We are looking for a Demi Chef for the Side Dishes section to join our culinary team at Almanac X Alcron Prague.

You will report to our Executive Chef Josef and Head Chef Leo. You will be a part of the new chapter of our restaurant concept — Brasserie 1932.

The concept returns to Alcron’s roots and brings the golden era of Prague gastronomy into a modern light. It is built on honest cooking, authentic guest experience, local ingredients, precise craftsmanship, and classic French technique. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, while the quality and technique remain at a high culinary level.

We serve food across our outlets — with the main focus on Brasserie 1932, alongside Alcron Bar, Banqueting, In-room Dining, Staff Cafeteria.

Cooking alongside our talented culinary team in one production kitchen.

Preparing side dishes that support the full dish — with proper technique, balance, and attention to detail.

Working with seasonal and local ingredients in line with the Brasserie 1932 concept.

Supporting smooth service across the restaurant and other hotel outlets.

Keeping your section clean, organized, and ready for service.

Following all HACCP rules and kitchen standards.

Working 12-hour shifts (from 10 am to 10 pm), including weekends and public holidays, compensated accordingly.

Supporting the team with a positive mindset.

What makes you a match

Minimum 2 years of experience in a Chef role, ideally in a busy high-end restaurant or a 5-star hotel.

Experience with side dishes, garnish, vegetables, sauces, or similar kitchen sections.

Independence, responsibility, diligence, and time flexibility.

Strong attention to detail and consistency.

Common sense 🙂

Conversational English or Czech.

An EU passport or a valid work authorization in the Czech Republic is a must.

You enjoy honest cooking, precise technique, and food that feels authentic, not overcomplicated.

You want to be part of a fresh restaurant concept with history and personality.
