We are looking for a Restaurant Supervisor to join Brasserie 1932 at Almanac X Alcron Prague. You will be part of a new restaurant concept that returns to Alcron’s roots and brings the golden era of Prague gastronomy into a modern, lighter and more relaxed setting.

Brasserie 1932 is built on honest cooking, authentic guest experience, local ingredients, precise craftsmanship and classic French technique. The atmosphere is warm, natural and accessible — without unnecessary formality, while keeping quality and attention to detail at a high level.

In this role, you will report to the Restaurant Manager and help lead the team in delivering service that feels personal, confident and genuinely caring.

What we trust you with

Lead the shift in a way that makes service feel smooth, natural and well organised.

Be present on the floor, support the team and create an atmosphere where both guests and colleagues feel comfortable and cared for.

Help the team understand the restaurant concept, menu, wine, ingredients and the story of Brasserie 1932, so they can share it with guests in a natural way.

Maintain strong product knowledge, including ingredients, suppliers, equipment, current food and beverage trends and the wider restaurant scene.

Monitor the quality of service, food and beverage presentation, and share constructive feedback with the Restaurant Manager and the team.

Support natural upselling that adds value to the guest experience and helps the department achieve its targets.

Help train, motivate and develop Restaurant team members.

Support inventory control and make sure restaurant equipment and company assets are looked after properly.

Ensure all restaurant processes are in line with hygiene, safety and operational standards.

Bring ideas for improvement — from guest experience and team cooperation to sales, marketing or promotional opportunities.

 

What makes you a match

You have at least 2 years of experience in a casual fine-dining restaurant, high-quality hotel restaurant or similar environment.

You understand that great service is not only about technique, but also about timing, personality, warmth and genuine care for the guest.

You are a people person — able to communicate naturally with different types of guests and colleagues, while staying calm under pressure.

You are interested in gastronomy, current restaurant trends, wine and the local food culture.

You have experience leading a shift or a small team. Experience with training colleagues is a strong advantage.

You have good wine knowledge and a genuine interest in developing it further; a certification such as WSET in wines is a strong advantage.

You are flexible and able to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.

You speak advanced English and conversational Czech.

You have an EU passport or a valid work authorisation for the Czech Republic.
